Alisa Labzina is a Russian pianist with great creative energy, artistic and musical talents. She has an excellent technique, awide knowledge of repertoire and extensive experience. She graduated with honors from the Kazan State Conservatoir (1998), having studied piano, piano accompaniment and chamber music. Subsequently she also trained at the Mariinsky Theatre (2006), the Moscow State Conservatory (2006), the Enarmonica International Opera Academy (2010, 2011 - Rimini, Italy) and at the International Liric Academy (2014 - Viterbo, Italy ). She has taken part in various workshops, including international piano master - classes with Rudolf Buchbinder ( 1996, 1997 – Zurich, Switzerland ) and with Russian pianists Vera Gornostayeva and Dmitry Bashkirov, Spanish pianists Julián Lopez Jimeno and Ana Guijarro, as well as German pianist and organist Peter Dicke.
Since 1996 Alisa has worked at the Kazan State Conservatoire as accompanist to the choral conducting and vocal departments and as vocal coach to the Opera Studio. Since 2008 she has been the accompanist of the “Matisse International Music Course” at San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Madrid, Spain.
She studied the basics of conducting technique with the professor of the Kazan State Conservatory Aidar Yarullin. She is currently studying symphonic conducting and musical interpretation in "Escuela de Dirección de Orquesta y Banda "Maestor Navarro Lara ""(Spain) with Maestro Francisco Navarro Lara.
As an enterprising musician with an inspiring personality, she has performed widely, both in Russia and abroad. Venues have included the Russian Conservatory (Paris/France), Rudolfinum (Prague/Czech Republic), Basilica del Monasterio de El Escorial and Teatro Auditorio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid/Spain), cities such as Rimini, Montefiore, Astana, Helsinki, Moscow, Kazan and varies music festivals.
She has played at numerous competitions and won many prizes.
Alisa has collaborated with many famous musicians, playing for master-classes given by Rolando Panerai (baritone – Italy) and Vladimir Chernov (baritone – USA/France), and acting as repetiteur for opera rehearsals under conductors Leo Kremer (Germany) and Stefano Vignati (Italy). She has also performed with Mariana Todorova (violin - Spain), Juan Llinares (violin -Spain), Charles Matthews (piano - UK), Kathryn Price (cello – UK), Bibigul Tulegenova (soprano - Kazakhstan), Albina Shagimuratova (soprano -Russia), Eduard Treskin (baritone and stage-director - Czech Republic/Russia), Aida Garifullina (soprano – Austria/Russia) and with many other artists.
In 2008 she created the instrumental ensemble «Milonga» to perform music of Astor Piazzolla in the «Libertango» competition at Barnaul. In addition, she has made numerous arrangements for instrumental trio as well as for trumpet and vocal duet; she also edits piano compositions of contemporary Russian composers. In 2014 she wrote the scenario for a children's performance to the music of Khachaturian's ballet «Chipollino».
In 2016 Alisa Labzina has organized the first courses of vocal and acting technique in Kazan «CANTO LIRICO» where she was Artistic director as well as accompanist and vocal repetiteur.
In addition to Russian, Alisa speaks English and Spanish, and has studied Italian while attending vocal master-classes in Italy.
